Charging cable stuck in the charger socket
This can sometimes occur if a charging session is interrupted. Charging cables are generally locked into both the charge point and EV during charging, so that it can’t be removed or stolen.
If the charging session has ended but the cable will not release, ensure the EV shows that the session has ended too. The chosen System User at your site should also be able to “unlock” the charging cable in the back office if required.
If this is unsuccessful, simply turn off the MCB that feeds the charger, remove the cable and turn it back on.
The charger's circuit breaker (or main isolator switch) will generally be within a metallic cabinet and labelled up on both the charge point itself and within the distribution board. Simply match up the identification numbers and turn off the power supply.

Alternatively, there may be a safety isolator near the charger itself that can be used. In some
cases, using the emergency isolator may require a key to reset the charger and reinstate power.
It's not recommended to turn off the power to a charger using the breaker if a vehicle is actively charging, unless there is an emergency. If this does not resolve your issue, please email support@crackingenergy.com.
